The Anderson & Roe Piano Duo Debut Album: Reimagine

Greg Anderson & Elizabeth Joy Roe, ReimagineDon't miss the Anderson & Roe Piano Duo's debut album! The duo dramatically "REIMAGINES" the music they play and its presentation; this hyper-intense and adrenalized album features eight original compositions and arrangements by the Anderson & Roe Piano Duo in addition to Stravinsky's hard-core arrangement of The Rite of Spring for piano, four-hands. As a bonus (a significant bonus!), the album comes with a DVD featuring several of the duo's YouTube videos in a higher-quality format!

Greg Anderson - On Wings of Song

Filled with music that sings and music that soars, this is Greg's first commercial CD. Includes Ravel's Gaspard de la nuit ("immerse yourself in the devil's world of hedonistic hallucination," as Greg recommends); Liszt's "Norma Thriller" (to quote David Dubal); music by Mozart, Grieg, Mendelssohn, and Strauss; and a live performance by the Anderson & Roe Piano Duo playing none other than an Anderson & Roe transcription.

Elizabeth Joy Roe - Van Cliburn International Piano Competition

"American Elizabeth Joy Roe," claims the official Cliburn Competition Blogger, "is an emotional and physical powerhouse. She opened with the sprawling 'Etude Fantasy' by John Corigliano, a stunning piece of music of some twenty minutes. Roe followed this with a Schubert-Liszt, and the Wagner-Liszt 'Tristan und Isolde' and a ferocious Ravel 'La Valse' that positively implodes on itself in her powerful hands to tremendous effect."

Sounds of Juilliard (2006 Centennial Year)

The Anderson & Roe Piano Duo are featured on "Sounds of Juilliard," a CD celebrating Juilliard's centennial year. Chosen from among over 700 performances, Greg and Liz's performance of Saint-Saens' Danse Macabre (their own transcription) in Alice Tully Hall was deemed one of the most scintillating of the celebratory year. The CDs are promotional and are not for sale, but one could theoretically get a hold of a copy by "befriending" the Juilliard School.
