Dear young pianist,
Greg studied privately with Julian Martin; Liz studied with Yoheved Kaplinsky. As a duo we received coachings from Joseph Kalichstein, Margo Garret, and Jonathan Feldman, as well as with both Mr. Martin and Ms. Kaplinsky.

Dear Ivana,
Boy, was Juilliard fun! Music all day and friends all night ... what could be any better? We touched on "A Few of Our Favorite Things About Juilliard" in a question and answer posted below, and our fond memories have not changed much since we wrote it. Juilliard has a tremendous - at times overwhelming - energy flowing through the school, and that energy usually served as terrific inspiration for our work. Sure, there were the long days and usual frustrations, but that can be expected at just about any college or university.
We hope to see you there one day!

Here are a few of our favorite things about Juilliard:
- The palpable excitement and energy in the air
- The colorful personalities of our colleagues
- The colorful personalities of the faculty
- The massive, well-stocked, and browser-friendly library
- Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
- The incredible performing opportunities offered to the student body
- The location: LINCOLN CENTER!!
- The tight-knit, supportive community
- The dorm is only a few feet away from the classrooms (you can wake up five minutes before class and still be on time)
- The opportunity to meet awesome musical partners-in-crime
- Whole Foods, Central Park, Carnegie Hall, and great nightlife are just blocks away.
