Star Wars Fantasy:

Four Impressions for Two Pianos composed by Anderson & Roe and based on melodies by John Williams (2006)

...the end of the second impression.

...the opening of the fourth impression.

You can watch live performances of the first three impressions on the Video page.

During The Juilliard School's centennial year, John Williams (a Juilliard school alum) was asked to compose for a celebration concert entitled "Cinema Serenades" held in Alice Tully Hall. When he was unable to compose for the event, Greg & Liz filled in and composed the "Star Wars Fantasy: Four Impressions for Two Pianos" as means to preserve his aura on the concert.

The resulting 15-minute work was met with resounding success and was noted for its originality, virtuosity, and sophistication. Because much of the work benefits from the element of surprise, its content will not be described here in full detail.

The Anderson & Roe Piano Duo hope to continue performing the work, and eventually they hope to revise the work and add another movement. Before any of that happens, however, certain copyright restrictions must first be cleared!
